Award-wining Architectural firm in Omaha, NE is looking for an experienced Architectural Designer to join their team of professionals dedicated to innovative solutions for their long-standing client base through dedication, passion and design excellence.

Responsibilities

  • Meet with clients to discuss the design requirements for renovations, additions, or new-build
  • Gather necessary measurements, dimensions, and other routine calculations for design layouts
  • Provide clients with suitable design recommendations based on factors such as budget, the building site, and recent trends
  • Provide clients with estimates on cost, time, machinery, construction, and other specifications
  • Interact with other Architects and Designers to exchange ideas and provide support
  • Ensure all vital information and documentation is recorded and maintained
  • Coordinating architectural, structural, civil, mechanical and electrical disciplines to assure a smooth construction phase
  • Coordinating designs with building officials

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 5+ Years of experience
  • Experience with Revit, AutoCAD, Sketchup and Adobe programs
  • Product research experience
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task and establish priorities
  • Experience working with clients to determine scope and develop designs
  • Excellent communication and people skills
