The Director of Quality will facilitate and coordinate hospital wide quality management programs to ensure compliance with Joint Commission and other regulatory requirements.
Some responsibilities include:
-Facilitating compliance with core measures.
-Facilitating Hospital Patient Safety/Quality Council meetings.
-Preparing and presenting quality reports for Medical Executive Committee and Hospital Governing Board.
-Facilitates hospital risk management activities to include root cause analysis as required.
-Responsible for the hospital complaint and grievance process.
-Managing hospital occurrence reporting process.
-Preparing and presenting complaint and occurrence analysis reports for Hospital Quality Council, Medical Executive Committee and Governing Board.
-Coordinating Medical Staff Peer Review process.
-Developing and managing the department budget.
Bachelors Degree required. Masters preferred.
Current RN licensure in the state of NC or able to obtain prior to starting.
Minimum of 5 years experience in integrated case management, quality management, change management, or outcomes management.
Minimum of 1 year as a clinical nurse manager with performance improvement responsibilities
The person will report to the CEO.
Position is open due to a replacement and there is a person in place as an interim so things are taken care of until the new person starts.
The person needs to be able to work and support many departments.
This is a hospital setting and so the person needs to have Joint Commission experience.
The range for the position is between 100K-110K. They also offer a full benefit package and a relocation/sign-on.
