Job Description

A specialty food manufacturer with a primary focus on bakery products, supplying the Foodservice, Hospitality, Travel and Leisure channels.




Maintain, repair, and install plant equipment and facilities using preventative maintenance and routine maintenance systems.  Improve and implement maintenance procedures.  Plan and install machinery and parts in line with design plans and timescales minimizing risk of product, packing and equipment contamination and downtime.

Oversee the plant sanitation program developing, implementing, and monitoring cleaning practices for the building, grounds, equipment, and utensils.  Supervise, coordinate, and train the sanitation team.  Maintain master cleaning schedule, sanitation reports, and chemical control program meeting FDA, OSHA and EPA critical standards and inspections.  Participate on the Food Safety Team and Safety Committee.




5+ years of hands-on experience repairing electro-mechanical industrial machinery and troubleshooting skills. 

Hands-on electrical, hydraulics, pneumatics, and welding experience.

2+ years of supervisory experience, teaching, training direct reports, promoting safety, selecting, and working with outside vendors.

Reports to the Plant Manager.
