Job Description

We are looking for a Marketing Automation Lead to be an action-oriented doer who knows how to accelerate digital brand performance, execute CRM strategies, conduct analysis across multiple channels, employ marketing automation strategies, and deploy tactics designed to acquire, retain, reactivate, and reward customers across all segments and channels.

The ideal candidate will have a data-driven approach to problem solving with hands-on experience running a multichannel digital marketing and demand generation (SEO, PPC, SEM, email, social media, content creation) program, with a strong background in marketing automation, lead management, and customer segmentation. The candidate will also lead internal and external data management relationships.



  • Define strategy, build, execute, and optimize innovative and effective email automation campaigns with a focus on lead nurturing, buyer personas and customer journeys
  • Measures, analyzes, and reports digital marketing KPIs by channel with analysis against goals (RoAS, ROI, ACoS, LTV etc)
  • Serves as the business strategy leader for the CRM Database and Analytics platform (Google Analytics) leveraging the CRM platform to understand, analyze, and optimize customer lifetime value
  • Develops and manages an innovative Loyalty Program, focusing on personalization, testing, and driving engagement and retention
  • Partners with Sales, Marketing, Brand & Customer Service teams to establish and continually improve prospective and current customer segmentation strategy & implementation
  • Monitors customer migration across various predetermined segments
  • Defines and monitors success at the program, customer segment and campaign levels. Identifies and reports on Health of the Customer KPIs to track effectiveness of the all programs
  • Serves as a knowledge leader, using structured problem solving to craft and execute thoughtful insights and agendas
  • Participates in the promotion development process in conjunction with Sales, Product, and Channel teams to ensure the timely and effective implementation of all promotional activity
  • Partners with internal support resources to analyze and develop insights for marketing campaigns and communicate to relevant parties within the business
  • Formulates and communicates strategic business opportunities to necessary stakeholders
  • Identifies and creates areas and opportunities to improve the customer journey through new data points, emerging tools, and technologies
  • Manages consumer flow from various channels including SEO/SEM, affiliate, email, social media, display, remarketing, etc.
  • Regular Attendance is required
  • Perform other assigned duties as may be required in meeting company objectives
  • Communicate effectively with other departments within the organization and function within a team environment




  • Comprehensive understanding of Inbound Methodology
  • Proven experience defining and executing email automation campaigns
  • Experience with customer journey mapping and campaign/marketing automation services
  • Experience using attribution models to understand customer journeys preferred
  • Proficient use of Hubspot, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Pardot, Marketo or similar tool preferred
  • Proficient knowledge and experience using tools and technologies used for site management (i.e. CMS, eCommerce platforms)
  • Very high functional use of Excel, Google Analytics, and major digital marketing platforms
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills along with data-driven decision-making skills
  • Strong business judgment with ability to identify, prioritize, and articulate highest impact initiatives
  • Strong ability to multi-task and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Strong project management and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to partner well cross-functionally and build strong relationships with a collaborative working style
  • Strong drive towards innovation and continuous improvement


  • BA/BS degree or equivalent work experience preferred.â¯
  • 3-4+ years of experience in digital marketing with a focus on demand generation, CRM, Market Research, Business Analysis, and or Database Marketing
