Summary: Supports the Company Supply Chain team with executing the annual company capital plan. Works closely with the various plant and engineering teams to help develop their capital requests, ensure that they are well formed, and submitted on time. Tracks various key capital metrics for the Supply Chain team and provides the necessary data for the Supply Chain Strategic Deployment effort. Owns the Supply Chain multi-year capital planning process and works with various company teams to help improve the company capital process.
The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
• Track and report out on key capital metrics for the Supply Chain team and highlight opportunities for improvement
• Work with the various teams on developing data driven capital requisitions and presentations that support the needs of our client
• Develop, deploy, and maintain training and standardize operating procedures supporting the company capital process
• Key member of the project team focused on developing and deploying a digital capital management solution for the company
• Manage the capital plan for the Supply Chain team ensuring alignment between the plan and the goals of the company
• Work closely with capital project managers to ensure key spending milestones are maintained
• Support the Strategic Deployment effort through regular reports and update tracking documents
• Coordinate the development of multi-year capital plans for the Supply Chain team aligning to the needs of the company

• Knowledge of the Hoshin strategic planning process and the use of X-matrix’s and tracking bowlers
• Functional knowledge in a digital system that support capital spending and project tracking
Educational Requirements:
• 4 years Financial or Technical degree preferred
• 2 or more years of experience in managing capital projects
Preferred Experience:
• Project management of capital purchases
• Capital requisition development and approval process
• Financial planning and managing
• Report writing
• Presentation development
Physical Requirements:
• Able to travel up to 10% to the Cincinnati area or other local plants for training
