This organization will be a multifaceted EMS solution to support patients, co-workers, and communities. 

36/48, 6am-6pm or 6pm-6am
Rotating 2-week schedule:
Week 1: Sunday/Wednesday/Thursday
Week 2: Monday/Tuesday/Friday/Saturday

Community Paramedicine

Provides with a platform to improve the operations and sustainability of emergency, non-emergency, critical care, and pediatric patient transport services.

The Paramedic, under the supervision of the EMS Supervisor and the ED Director, is responsible for providing pre-hospital treatment of patients requiring care as the result of illness/injury in addition to assessing a patient’s condition and determine a course of treatment at the Advanced Life Support level.

The Paramedic delivers care based on patient needs appropriate for the neonate, infant, child, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients. He/she demonstrates an interest in a patient centered approach to total out of hospital care. Demonstrates cooperation, flexibility and resourcefulness when dealing with patients, visitors, physicians and other healthcare providers. The Paramedic shall be responsible for assisting with planning, supervising and evaluating the pre-hospital care of patients, for coordinating emergency medical care and transportation and following standing orders. Provides assessment, treatment and medical transportation of critically ill and/or injured patients between hospitals and from the scene of an accident or injury to an appropriate medical facility.


1 year pre-hospital experience at the ALS level is preferred, while previous work experience is considered 

Exhibits proficiency in pre-hospital care, has strong written and oral communication skills, as well as attention to detail


Paramedic certification for PA Required

Valid PA drivers license with Bureau of EMS approved Emergency Vehicle Operations course

American Heart Association BLS, ACLS and PALS certification (required)

Hazmat awareness, NIMS 100, 200, 700 & 800 proof of completion
