Job Description

5 day / 2 shift Printing team of 75. 

Experience from folding carton production with the further emphasis on finishing; gluing, windowing, and tray forming.


Wide Web Flexographic Printing, Adhesive Lamination, Extrusion Lamination, Pouch Converting for Paperboard mill, folding paperboard boxes, paper doilies from purchased material paper materials and products, packaging trays, packaging pouches and bags, packaging boxes, carded packaging, conductive boxes, rigid set up boxes, egg trays, packaging materials, packaging cans, packaging boxes and bags and pouch products.




Reports to: Plant Manager

Manage the Process Standards, Results, and Improvements.

Manage the printing production, driving improved customer quality, reliability, and cost reduction.  

Identify and implements improvements.

Create and maintains production standards based on best practices, company goals and continuous improvement.

Provides technical support to Sales Team and Product Development as needed.

Manage supervisors responsible for hiring, terminations, recognition, discipline, training, employee relations, and performance management.

Works with key performance indicator’s (KPI’s) in conjunction with Plant Manager and communicates desired results.

Promotes a strong safety and quality culture, promoting existing programs and processes.

Evaluates employee performance and conducts performance reviews while supporting employee growth and career development.




5+ years of machine process operation and leadership / management experience.


Experience in Wide Web Flexographic Printing, Adhesive Lamination, web cutting on zero and or mercury cutting lines with flexographic printing presses in line.

Expertise – strength in at least one of these 2 general areas.
A technical expert in Web flexo cutting, finishing (gluing, windowing, tray forming).  

Knowledge of Printing machines, uses, and maintenance.

Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, costs, and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods.

Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, production methods, and coordination of people and resources.
