Seeking qualified and experienced Production Supervisor / Plant Foreman candidates for great leadership opportunity with a 25 year old, growing, family-owned business specializing in the wood transformation industry. The company is opening a new location in Keeseville, NY.

Job Summary:

The Production Supervisor/Plant Foreman is to direct the operations of the facility which includes managing all employees, safety, production, material planning, inventory, and reporting.

Duties and responsibilities include:

• Manage all employees and plant operations
• Quality control
• Manage material planning, inventory and stock
• Produce daily reports and manage production
• Perform basic maintenance and upkeep on woodworking tools and machinery as well as general factory maintenance
• Build and manage a continuous improvement culture
• Recruit and hire a team
• Increase production efficiency and product quality through constant production process improvement and by maximizing throughput

Candidates should have these qualifications:

• 5+ years of manufacturing leadership experience (production supervisor, manager, plant manager, etc.)
• Experience managing a team in a fast-paced but detail oriented and high end (high quality) environment
• Knowledge of woodworking or wooden pallets is preferred

• Organizational skills, attention to detail, time management skills, problem solving abilities, team player, professionalism and strong work ethic.
