Job Description
- Lead and facilitate root cause analysis and corrective action for critical and/or systematic quality issues
- Identify and facilitate cross functional quality improvement activities and projects
- Standardize process audit methodology to include development of effective audit result reporting
- Secure effectiveness and efficiency in Problem Solving when working cross-functionally
- Train new quality employee members
- Prepare weekly and monthly quality reports
- Data analysis through usage of 7QC tools
- Perform process risk and variation analysis FMEA, FTA, control charts
- Secure the addressing of biggest risks and systematic causes for variation
- Write SOPs for the establishment of standardized processes and/or activities critical to quality
- Coordinate Problem Solving Methodology and cross-functional problem solving
- Training in Quality methods and tools
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering degree required.
- 5 years of experience as Quality Engineer
- Leadership abilities in people development
- Ability to meet deadlines and coach employees to meet expectations
- Ability to lead and influence and at all levels in the organization
- Proficiency in MS Office suite (Excel, Work, PowerPoint)
- 6-Sigma, Lean, ISO9001, GD&T experience and expertise
- CQE, CQA, or CQM ASQ certification preferred
- Experience in effective quality assurance and quality control
- Experience in Quality Management Tools and Quality Control Tools
