RADIOLOGY SUPERVISOR

Location: Penn Yan, NY

Shifts: Days, some call as needed

Reports To:

DIR DIAGNOSTICS

Supervises:

X-Ray, CT, US, and mammo staff

Education:

Minimum:  Approved AMA 2 year program in Radiologic Technology or Radiology Technology Program.

Preferred: Advanced degree in medically related field.

License/

Certifications:

National Registry and NYS license.

Experience:

Minimum: Three years work experience with broad background in all technical areas of diagnostic radiology. One year supervisory experience.

Minimum:  . Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a complex, multi-entity, multi-cultural health system.  Ability to facilitate project management, work effectively under pressure, meet deadlines, manage multiple priorities and enhance the spirit of teamwork through effective role modeling.  Familiarity with NYSDOH, JCAHO and related regulatory requirements.  Demonstrated excellent leadership, interpersonal, communication (written and oral), analytical, and organizational skills. Demonstrated ability to deal effectively with the public in a professional and courteous manner. Computer literacy required with word processing, spreadsheets, power point

Preferred:  Experience with Microsoft Office products including  word, excel and power point electronic medical record
