Our 50 for 50 campaign rolls on!
50 Acts of Gratitude celebrating 50 years of service to Central Ohio continued this past Wednesday as our Columbus-East team hosted Acloché’s fourth Lunch & Learn of 2018.
Once a month, one of our Acloché branches will host a free Lunch & Learn event, where we invite our clients, partners, and a diverse range of business professionals to spend an afternoon with us as we tackle a variety of workplace topics.
This past Tuesday, we discussed Handling Difficult People & Situations, a topic that is relevant to everyone at some point or another. This course focused on giving our attendees the tools needed to find a common ground, calm emotions, and forge a productive path forward when working with people that they might not see eye to eye with. Our team worked to figure out ways to identify the sources of what can cause workplace conflicts, and how to ease tensions when these conflicts arise.
“I really enjoyed the interactivity of the material and the time spent working with others,” one local attendee stated. “We were presented with extremely clear and engaging information.”
As we continue our Lunch & Learn series, our goal is to provide coaching and advice that pertains to real life situations, helping our participants expand their knowledge on the subjects at hand.
This week, our Lunch & Learn was catered by Freshbox Catering, which is an incredible local organization that offers meaningful employment to community members affected by poverty, employment barriers, and homelessness. Over the years, we have ordered from Freshbox for a variety of events, and could not be happier with the service they provide.
