Our 50 for 50 campaign, which celebrates Acloché’s 50th year in business by giving back to the community with 50 Acts of Gratitude, continues on with an entry into our Pay It Forward series! Once a month, one of our Acloché teams will choose a charitable cause or organization in their region to give back to.
This week, our Direct Hire team helped Pay It Forward by supporting and donating to the Ohio Domestic Violence Network, an incredible organization dedicated toward creating an oppression and violence-free community for everyone.
The Ohio Domestic Violence Network (ODVN) believes that ending violence against women and children requires a connection with organizations and individuals to create a clear vision and collective voice for social and systemic change. ODVN’s purpose is to support and strengthen Ohio’s response to domestic violence through training, public awareness, and technical assistance, and to promote social change through the implementation of public policy.
As we observe Domestic Violence Awareness Month, our Direct Hire team wanted to find an organization that supports the victims and all those affected by the situations that occur in violent households and relationships. Direct Hire’s donation went into the Betty & Gladys Legacy Fund, which goes specifically toward aiding individuals who are trying to escape a troubled situation, such as providing gas money or organizing transportation.
We wanted to thank the Ohio Domestic Violence Network for providing such an important service to our community, and Direct Hire team was happy to know their support was going towards such a great cause. As always, we are proud of our Acloché teams for finding such amazing organizations to give their time to. We are looking forward to learning about how our HR & Administrative teams will Pay It Forward next month!
