Acloché’s 50 for 50 campaign, which celebrates 50 years of service to Central Ohio with 50 Acts of Gratitude, continued this this week as our Lancaster branch hosted Acloché’s 12th and final Lunch & Learn of 2018.
In an effort to connect with our local business communities, every month in 2018 one our Acloché branches hosted a free Lunch & Learn event, where we invited our clients, partners, and a diverse range of business professionals to spend an afternoon with us as we tackle a wide variety of workplace topics.
This time around in Lancaster, the topic at hand was On the Job Training for the Production Trainer. The focus of this course was to teach and refine the skills necessary to effectively train others on the job, creating a more efficient workplace. Participants were shown how to prepare, plan, and organize training courses for those with new duties or positions.
During the Lunch & Learn, we broke down how to understand the adult learning process, and the communication skills needed to successfully transmit your message. A session was held toward the end of the course where participants practiced and demonstrated their training skills, with valuable feedback being provided.
All year long, the goal of our Lunch & Learn series was to provide coaching and advice that pertains to real life situations, helping our participants expand their knowledge on the subjects at hand. We had an amazing time hosting these twelve classes and getting to know dozens of new faces in our local business communities. We sincerely thank all of those who attended a Lunch & Learn in 2018!
