For the 12th year in a row, Acloché is fielding a team for the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure. Just like last year, the 2021 Columbus Race for the Cure will be a virtually held event that takes place on Saturday, May 15th. From the Susan G. Komen website:

“On event day, we invite you to join us online to hear stories from our survivors and those living with breast cancer, to learn about the impact of Komen’s research discoveries, public policy advocacy and direct patient support services, and to celebrate your fundraising success. Then, we encourage you to set out on the sidewalks of your own neighborhood to earn your Virtual Finisher Medal by walking 6,000 steps for your commitment to end breast cancer.”

Starting Sunday, May 9th, daily events will be held celebrating Power in Pink Week, where individuals can participate in a Pink-themed event to show their support in the fight against breast cancer, and Acloché will be there every step of the way! Be on the lookout as we hold contests and drawings for prizes during Power in Pink Week on our social media pages.

This year, a new app was launched that will allow participants to be more involved than ever in the Race for the Cure. The app will allow users to connect with others and share encouragement on social media, earn badges, and participate in the activity challenges, and even track your steps as you work toward your 6,000 step goal. The app is free on the Apple App Store and Google Play to anyone who registers for the 2021 Race for the Cure.

We are honored to part in helping Susan G. Komen end breast cancer forever. Be #MoreThanPink and help us reach our 2021 Race for the Cure fundraising goal! Your donation will fund research to discover more effective treatments, help connect people with screenings, diagnostics, and treatment assistance, and so much more. Please visit our team page below to contribute toward our goal—we are grateful for your support!
