Acloché was once again named one of the top 50 family-owned businesses of Central Ohio in a recent publication of the Columbus Business First. Acloché was named 46th among the 50 companies listed. The rankings were based on the number of Central Ohio employees in 2013. Acloché employed 93 internal employees during this time period.
George and Betty Lou Ruch founded Acloché in 1968. Georgia Ruch, the grandaughter of George and Betty Lou, is the current owner.
“Acloché is once again honored to be among the top 50 family-owned businesses in the Central Ohio region,” said Kimberly Shoemaker, the company’s current CEO. “To be able to continue to uphold the values and reputation of your company’s founders nearly 50 years later is quite an accomplishment. It is our goal to continue to use these values to build upon our success.”
Wasserstrom Company, Byers Automotive Group and the Kokosing Group were named first, second and third respectively.
