Two down and 48 more to go! Our 50 Acts of Gratitude celebrating 50 years of service to Central Ohio continued this past Wednesday as Acloché hosted our first Lunch & Learn of 2018.
Following up on last week’s fantastic Pay It Forward event, this weeks 50 for 50 was the first of our monthly Lunch & Learn series, where we invite our clients, partners, and a diverse range of business professionals to spend an afternoon with us as we tackle a variety of workplace topics. As employment experts here at Acloché, we know a thing or two about leadership, so this class was designed to give those who attended the tools needed to develop and motivate their teams.
Throughout the year, each of our Acloché locations will be hosting a Lunch & Learn in their area, and on Wednesday our Central branch certainly kicked things off on the right foot, as the event was met with an overwhelmingly positive response. “The information and recommendations are realistic and practical,” one participant stated, “They encouraged engagement with others.”
Our goal for each of these Lunch & Learns is to provide coaching and advice that pertains to real life situations, helping our participants expand their knowledge on the subjects at hand. We are certainly looking forward to hosting our next Lunch & Learn in February!
As an aside, this Lunch & Learn was catered by Freshbox Catering, which is an incredible local organization that offers meaningful employment to community members affected by poverty, employment barriers, and homelessness. Over the years, we have ordered from Freshbox for a variety of events, and could not be happier with the service they provide.
