Acloché was named one of the top 50 family-owned businesses of Central Ohio in a recent publication of the Columbus Business First. Acloché was named 45th among the 50 companies listed, up from last year’s ranking of 47th. The rankings were based on the number of Central Ohio employees in 2012. Acloché employed 81 employees during this time period.
George and Betty Lou Ruch founded Acloché in 1968. Georgia Ruch, the grandaughter of George and Betty Lou, is the current owner.
“Acloché is proud to once again be named amongst the top 50 family-owned businesses in Central Ohio,” said Kim Shoemaker, the company’s current CEO. “It is quite an accomplishment to continue to maintain the values and reputation of the business that was created by our founders over four decades ago.”
Wasserstrom Company, Byers Automotive Group and the Kokosing Group were named first, second and third respectively.
