Earlier this week, Acloché CEO Kim Shoemaker participated in Mentoring Monday, a fantastic event held by Columbus Business First.

Mentoring Monday is an annual gathering where Central Ohio business leaders get a chance to sit down with women throughout the area and give career advice, share experiences, and provide insight into the unique journey that their careers have taken them on. The goal of the event is to provide a platform for prominent women in business to connect with the community in a personal, one-on-one “speed dating” format.

“When I first learned about the concept behind the Mentoring Monday event, I was thrilled at the opportunity to participate,” Kim stated. “It’s not often that an event gives you the chance to connect with so many fantastic women in the business community in such a personal way.”

Kim was also selected to be part of the discussion panel following the meeting sessions, where several local leaders got a chance to dive deeper into their stories to the hundreds of local women in attendance.

“Connecting with others is at the core of what we do at Acloché. I hope that those in attendance learned as much from me as I learned from them.”
